1st Annual “Beer Run”
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for men and women. Four person teams will sign-up on-site. The team with all four runners over the line the fastest will win 1st Place prize. Prizes also awarded for best dressed!
Pre-run Stretch at 11:30 AM:
Join Emily Clark for stretching prior to race start. A certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer and former NFL cheerleader, Emily teaches everything from Insanity, S.T.R.I.D.E, and Boot Camp to Group Power and Group Core.
Beer Stops to include beers from the following:
Flying Dog Black Wit, Boulevard, Ballast Point, Leinenkugel, Port City, Yards, Yuengling, Brew House Rarities, Heavy Seas Riptide, Mich Ultra, Goose Island, Devils Backbone, Kona, Star Hill, Coastal, Sam Adams, Angry Orchard and more.
Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds
Use Entrance for Main Gate off of General's Highway. Parking is free and attendants will direct you to designated parking lot.
Gates open at 10am.
Serious 5k runners: 12 pm start time
Not so serious: 1 pm start time
Race Packets will be given out the day of the race.
All racers must provide a signed waiver. Download waiver here. Waiver's also provided onsite.

No one under 21 will be admitted. Only those 21+ with valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) will be admitted. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee, no exceptions.

Post-Run party hosted by Ram's Head Roadhouse just down the road from the race at 1773 General's Highway, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Come for more cold beer, great food, and a good time!

If you enjoy being fit while having a good time, join us at Annapolis Beer Week’s First Annual Beer Run - that’s good for you! Sample over 40 unique beers while competing in Annapolis Beer Week's version of a 5K and Fun Run. The 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run is a cross country course (blacktop, gravel, dirt and hills).
